1) At the time of Pakistan's independence in 1947, the Pakistani rupee had value with 1 USD equal to 3.31 PKR. Pakistan's population was only 33.7 million. 2) Over the years from 1960-2020, the exchange rate of USD to PKR has steadily increased, showing Pakistan's weakening economy. The population also increased dramatically to over 200 million currently. 3) A weak currency and high population growth rate have disadvantages like a weak economy, poor living standards, and development progress being wasted without control over population. To improve the situation, family planning laws and economic strengthening are needed.
