Nicol David is a 17-year-old patient who has come in for a routine dental checkup at the hospital. Dr. Moona Lisa has been her regular dentist for the past 10 years. So, she knows her since her childhood and asked her some informal questions related to her school and hobbies. Nicol has an appointment for an X-ray of her teeth as her wisdom tooth is giving her much pain and swelling. Dr. Lisa tells her about the X-ray and asks her to be ready. But suddenly Nicol see a poster on the wall labeled that X-rays are harmful to pregnant women. She thinks for a while and tells the doctor that she is expecting. Nicol requested the doctor not to tell this secret to her family as Dr. Lisa has known her family for many years. Nicol is involved in adolescence and she does not want her family to come to know this fact. So, there is an ethical dilemma related to dentistry that how Dr. Lisa will handle this scenario. Dr. Lisa should have to consider her ethical and professional responsibility.
Now Dr. Lisa will study her patient’s case and consider the implications associated with it. There are many scenarios that come to her mind while studying and thinking about her patient case as patient confidentiality is the prime ethical responsibility of the doctor. The options for Dr. Lisa may be: Should she do nothing leaving Nicol to deal with the matter or try to convince Nicol to discuss the pregnancy with her family or inform Nicol that her dentist must tell the family if Nicol doesn't offer to tell the mother. So the doctor won't have to arrange for Nicol to see a physician to make sure of her condition inform Nicol’s mother in spite of Nicol's objection. Now, the doctor has to choose an option depending upon the patient’s well-being and the magnitude of the situation that problem may arise for Nicol by letting her family know that she is involved in adultery. Miss Lisa has to consider the practice of adhering to local laws pertaining to minors upholding the privacy and confidentiality of the patient. The young patient’s decision-making abilities consequences of the patient's situation consideration of a possible history of abuse the obligation to reach informed consent the relationship of trust between the patient and the dentist.

Introduction
In communities everywhere, people have been taking for granted health information that has been presented and put in place to ensure safety and prevention. However, these health promoting mechanisms are fundamental since they allow the community to have some light about a particular disease or condition and see how to prevent it (Córdova et al., 2018). Healthcare providers need to ensure that the community receives quality healthcare education so that its residents are not affected by a pandemic or other dangerous diseases. This paper will focus on health promotion and on developing a community teaching work proposal to ensure that STIs are prevented.

Supplies, Material, Equipment Needed:
Projector, condoms, bananas, paper, laptop, screen, and beach balls.
Estimated cost: $25
Community and Target Aggregate: grades 7-;12 participants attending mental health outpatient services program as participants.
Topic: Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
Identification of Focus for Community Teaching: This teaching aims to educate the participants on how to prevent STIs, prevent teen pregnancies and how to practice safe sex. It also aims to educate them on the dangerous infections caused by STIs.
Epidemiological Rationale for Topic: Statistics show that in a year, more than one million STIs are acquired in the whole world. According to the center for disease and control prevention, most of the cases of STIs are amongst adolescents (Perry et al., 2020). Research has proven that young people engage in behaviors that may put their lives at risk of contracting the STIs unknowingly. Therefore, making it crucial that this population receives proper teaching about abstinence and safe sex.
Teaching Plan Criteria
Nursing Diagnosis: The nursing diagnosis related to this population is that adolescents engage in risk seeking behaviors. Such behaviors put them at risk for injury. This increase in the number of adolescents engaging in risky behavior is high due to unawareness or misconceptions about infections.
Readiness for Learning: This specific population can demonstrate readiness to learn seeing that sex is an intriguing topic to most adolescents in that age group. Eagerness to know about the topic displays interest and willingness to learn about sex education.
Learning Theory to Be Used: In this teaching, we focus on how adolescents are being affected by their surrounding environment such as other peers’ behaviors. Following the CDC's r ...

The APPLICATION PROJECT OPTIONS from which you may choose are:
1. Prenatal Development
Design an education course for expectant parents. At the minimum, prepare an outline of all the topics that you would cover in this course and include a description of any activities and resources you would use.
2. Infant Development
Observe the motor behavior of an infant (0-3 years) over three (3) periods of at least 30 minutes. You may interact with the infant during this time. Record your detailed, objective observations, then write out your evaluation of the infant's motor development based on the information presented in this course.
3. Preschool Development
Observe the language behavior of a preschool child (3-6 years) over three (3) periods of at least 30 minutes. You may interact with the child during this time. Record your detailed, objective observations, then write out your evaluation of the child's language development based on the information presented in this course.
4. Middle Childhood Development
Observe the play behavior of a middle-years child (6-12 years) over three (3) periods of at least 30 minutes. Do not interact with the child during this time. Try to make your presence as inconspicuous as possible. You may want to go to a park or playground. Record your detailed, objective observations then write out your evaluation of the child's play/social development based on the information presented in this course.
5. Adolescent Development
Make up at least ten (10) open-ended questions and ask them of a minimum of 5 adolescents. The questions could concern school, sex, food, use of time, occupation, plans for the future, etc. Record their answers as best you can and then write out your evaluation of the adolescents' identity formation based on the information presented in this course.
6. Adult Development
Write your autobiography from your earliest memories to your present stage of adult development. The focus of this paper should be on the determinants of your present personality. Using Erik Erikson's theory of psychosocial development, state how you think you resolved each of the crises of development (for early stages, you may have to ask others or draw conclusions based on your present personality). Give specific examples from your life story to support your conclusions.
7. Aging
Make up at least ten open-ended questions and ask them of a minimum of 5 individuals over the age of 65. Among the questions that you should ask them are, "What would you do differently if you had your life to live over again?" and "What advice would you give a person of my age on how to live a meaningful life?" Write your questions and the answers received in your paper and include any conclusions you would make about aging.
8. Death and Dying
Design a death education course that would help you deal with your own death or the death of a loved one. Prepare an outline of all of the topics you would cover in this cour.
