The Centre for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA) is an apolitical non-governmental organisation created by volunteers specialized on communication for development. It is a communication for development (C4D), public policy, sustainable development and document resource centre. The work of CECOSDA is focused on three specific areas, notably: environment, food security and water resources. The centre is aimed on supporting institutions, governments and other development partners involved in sustainable development; leading short and long term communication and outreach operations, including communication campaigns. CECOSDA also seeks to carry out, encourage, support and lead research, as well as to promote the use of scientific, technical and other types of communication knowledge to achieve economic and social progress in Cameroon and Africa in general. CECOSDA also supports institutions, governments and other development partners to conduct communication operations and awareness on sustainable development. It formulates communications strategies on priority issues and carries out communication campaigns to support the various projects and programs. Specifically, CECOSDA works on: Operational surveys to obtain baseline data for communication; Sensitization Project management of educational talks and training; The development of innovative communication strategies; Evaluation of communications projects; Publication and specific studies in the field of communication for development (C4D).
