To give better insights into
relationships.
To inform readers what a
relationship is really like
Entertain – it allows readers to take
a break from everyday life and
focus on something else.

The form for the hand copy of
the magazine will be a glossy
finish to have a more elegance
aesthetic and there will be 25
pages.
The genre is romance and will
illustrate a real relationship
between two people.
The digital copy which is
cheaper doesn’t include the
interview with the actor hence
why its cheaper.
I will also have three types of
fonts all sans serif to represent
romance included throughout
the magazine, this is, so readers
don’t get bored.
The magazine is presenting the
love between two people and
the difficulties that it can
involve along the way and the
reality of being in a
relationship.

CONTENT:
The magazine will include content about north London because the
film is produced there, and the target audience is also based there.
There will be an interview with one of the main characters to get an
intake of who they are outside of the film.
The magazine will include a unique selling point which is a QR code to
read out the text to readers with disabilities.
TARGET
AUDIENCE:
• My target audience for my film magazine is
ages 16-35 this is because the film is only
appropriate to 16+ and would only be
appealing up to the age 35.
• The area of North London Barnet is the
main primary target audience who the
magazine will be promoted to, and the
secondary target audience will be the
primary target audience’s associates, people
they may see at work or their friends.
RECOURSES AND PERSONAL:
Resources
mirrorless interchangeable lens camera -
For many creative shots the mirrorless is the best choice because any
incoming light goes directly to the image sensor.
A soft box –
A soft box is normally used in photography to minimize shadows.
Coated paper –
Coated paper stops the paper from fully absorbing ink and results in a
finish therefore its used for magazines.
Props –
props help tell a story for instance in my romance magazine there will
props such as roses.
Travel. –
Having a way to travel to different settings is important as its quick and
time consuming.
Condiments –
Keeping employees happy is important when making a magazine so
them complimentary food and drinks is crucial.
Personal
Marketing manager -
a marketing manager is in charge of all the promoting the magazine
photographer -
they take all the shots for the magazine
director -
they make all the decisions to do with the production of the magazine
makeup artist -
does all the makeup for the models
designer -
chooses outfits for the models to wear
actors -
the people that are pictured in the images
legal representative -
they help the magazine with any ethical issues and confidentiallty and
data protection

MY FILM:
My film is a non-fiction romance genre which will
show what a relationship is really like and the realities
of it, but it will be from the girlfriend’s point of view
rather than the third person
The film will be a diverse character base so that its
inclusive to all.
The film will involve upcoming British actors and
already known actors.
There will hopefully be a sequel and this will be from
the boyfriends point of view.

Editor's Notes

  1. this Magazine is a source of entertainment for readers to get lost in the story and imagine the love between two people. Because the purpose of the magazine is to give insights on the realities of relationships the magazine information will all be non-fiction meaning it will be a better source for what a relationship is really like and all the excitement and drama that goes along with it.
  2. For the form of my magazine i am going to do a portrait stle glossy finish so that my magazine fits the romantic aestetic. The fonts will all be all sans serif as illustrated on the document as its easier for readers to see clearly. It seems to me that the genre romance is very popular amongst readers and audiences. Having a fair reasonable price for your magazine is important because people will only purchase the magazine if it’s a price they are willing to pay.
  3. Colour schemes and fonts are a powerful tool for building brand identity and communicating with consumers. Colour schemes and fonts can also present the genre of something as it’s a discreet way of conveying something to an audience. Having a various amount of fonts is principle as it wont bore the readers.
  4. The content for my magazine is going to mention north London because that is where my target audience is based but also the production company nutmeg that is producing the film, nutmeg are a north London production company who are very focused on their creativity. The magazine will focus on the the genre of the magazine and the actors. The reason their will be a lot of focus on the. Actors is because they are not as known and this will help promote them. The Usp is the competioton and it is something that can diffintiate this magazine from others.
  5. My primary target audience is ages 16-35 years old and couples they will hopefully help promote the magazine to the secondary audience so that the magazine can gain more publicity. Because it’s a romance magazine a lot of the audience who will read the magazine and be interested in it will be couples.
  6. As shown on the slide you can see the recourses needed for the magazine are a vary of options. Other magazines may have different recources that suits them but for this magazine this is all that’s needed.
  7. Marketing my magazine will be very easy because north London has plenty of places to advertise i will be using billboards and posters and to get the news out to the teenage audience there will be adverts on tiktok to ensure everyone sees. The magazine will be distributed every month until the film is out. This is so the magazine gets the most attention.
  8. Above you may see my sketches for the double page spread and front cover these are labelled to where everything will be going for example the masthead, barcode, page numbers.
  9. My streaming platform favourtives is presenting new upcoming films including my new film favourtives will be produced across many countries however it will only feature british films and series.
  10. As you can see this is my mood board which is a romance genre so it features couples of all types this is to produce positivity across all couples.
