This study compared the ankle and knee joint kinematics of two cross training methods - stationary biking and using an elliptical machine. Video and color detection was used to track leg motion and calculate position, velocity, and acceleration at the ankle and knee joints. The goal was to examine the biomechanical similarities and differences between these cross training options to help injured athletes select the method most similar to their normal activity.
