7. Python history
Python is a high-level, interpreted programming language conceived in
the late 1980s and first implemented in December 1989 by Guido van
Rossum at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the
Netherlands. Van Rossum initiated Python as a successor to the ABC
language, aiming to create a language with better exception handling
and the ability to interface with the Amoeba operating system.
