- 2. Baking? I got interestedin baking when I saw my British friends bake lovely stuff back in London, where we stayed for a while. I tried my hand at baking cakes and cookies in London and got tremendous response from everyone there. I have now been regularly baking for over 5 years mostly for my kids and friends.
- 3. Specialties? Apple crumble, cupcakesand healthy cakes are my specialties. Since I bake mostly for my kids till date, I evolved a practice of baking nutritious and tasty cakes with fruit, honey and dates instead of sugar and try using only vegetable colors.
- 4. HBG and Showcase? Istarted to bake on a large scale in the last 6 months and have been eager to launch my business. HBG has provided me with the perfect opportunity to do so. In addition, it has provided a great network of mentors.
- 5. Hobbies? I wouldn’t sayhobbies exactly. I finished MCA and worked in an Insurance firm for a while. I now take care of my two young kids (6 and 3 year boys) in addition to being an active stock trader. I am also half-way through the CFA course and learning Carnatic music from a renowned musician.
- 6. Ingredients? I get themfrom Passionate Baking or my sister gets them for me from the US.
- 7. Future plans? What startedas interest has developed to hobby and now to passion – want to continue to bake with passion and treat everyone with delicious and nutritious goodies.
