men. The feminist Movement fights for equal rights nd opportunities
for women. They seek to develop equal opportunities for women in
edu and employment sectors.
2. The different kinds of feminism and its supporters even at certain
levels disagree with each other about how womens are disadvantaged.
• Thr are 3 types of feminism and they have different point of views on
family.
3. MARXISM:
• Marxism is the theory of karl Marx which says that society’s classes
are the cause of struggle and that society should have no class. For
example the private ownership should be replaced by co-operative
ownership.

maintains the class inequalities and capitalisam.
• The position of women changed according to how families were

• Marxists acknowledge that womens are exploited in family and
marriage life.
• Nuclear family performs functions for capitalisam the wealthy passes
their private property to their children thus reproducing class
