This document contains the results of a survey about viewer preferences for thriller films. It includes 15 multiple choice questions about the respondent's gender, age, frequency of watching thrillers, preferred film certification, ability to identify genres from descriptions, likelihood of watching a full film based on a synopsis, preferred title for a thriller, preferred lead actor gender, preferred beginning for a thriller, importance of sound effects, best filming location, expectations from the genre, and preferred distribution method. The majority of respondents were female, between 18-34 years old, watch thrillers once a month or less, and prefer an 18-rated certification.
