LET’S SHARE OUR LIFE WITH OTHERS
Organ donation is the process when a
person allows an organ of their own to
be removed and transplanted to
another person, legally, either by
consent while the donor is alive or dead
with the assent of the next of kin.
Donation may be for research or, more
commonly, healthy transplantable
organs and tissues may be donated to
be transplanted into another person

WORLD ORGAN DONATION DAY
World Organ Donation Day is observed
every year on August 13 across the globe.
The purpose of observing this day is to
spread awareness about the importance of
organ donation and to encourage people to
do the same. Organ failure was one of the
major reasons that led to a large number of
deaths during the pandemic. In fact, people
used to lose their lives because of the
unavailability of organs before the
pandemic as well. Therefore, organ
donation is a noble act that needs to be
promoted.
YOU WILL LIVE ON EVEN AFTER YOU ARE GONE

BLOOD DONATION
A SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD CAN MAKE HUGE DIFFERENCE
A blood donation occurs when a person
voluntarily has blood drawn and used for
transfusions and/or made into
biopharmaceutical medications by a
process called fractionation. Donation may
be of whole blood, or of specific
components directly . Blood banks often
participate in the collection process as well
as the procedures that follow it.
9. IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE DRUGS
There is no bigger donation than donating your organs.
An agent that decreases
the body's immune
responses. It reduces the
body's ability to fight
infections and other
diseases, such as cancer.
Immunosuppressive
agents may be used to
keep a person from
rejecting a bone marrow
or organ transplant.

ORGAN DONATION CAN BE A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT IN THE MIDST OF SOMEONE
Tissue or organ transplantation
can be described as a biological
process that involves the
removal of tissue or organs from
one body to another body. The
person that gives his or her
organ or tissue is called the
donor, and the person who is
needy for that organ or tissue is
known as the recipient.
11. THE MEASURE OF LIFE IS NOT IT’S DURATION ,
BUT IT’S DONATION
organ donation is very
helpful for the
grieving process .
Transplants can save
or transform the life
of a person
BE A HERO , BE AN ORGAN DONOR . LIFE IS A GIFT . PASS IT ON
12. CONCLUSION :-
