Certificates of Title
Module serves as database with cadastral parcels for given agricultural seasons, sorting by
cadastral municipalities and administrative districts as they were obtained by a lease. Data can be
changed every year, depending on contract.
Print reports match exact matrix of contract with all details and sum of square meters for each
municipality.
Sowing and subventions:
Module extends to the Certificates of Title data and gives complete sowing plan, in accordance to
the agronomic crop rotation (oilseed rape, winter barley, wheat, spring barley, soy, sunflower,
corn) for the ongoing season that starts in the fall.
Print reports are made for each cadastral district and administrative unit with all the details and
summed area of agricultural crops. Reports are also used and referred within application to the
Ministry of Agriculture for obtaining the subventions.
Contracts:
Module manages process of production contracting (oilseed rape, winter barley, wheat, spring
barley, soy, sunflower, corn) with subcontractors, with records of agronomic culture and land area,
seed quantities, fertilizers and protection means that are deducted from the value of goods when
purchasing - automatic definition of purchase price and quality standards with tolerance of +/- in
percent relative to the variety of contracted culture and the place of unloading.
Quantities are updated with issue letter from the warehouse (seed, fertilizer, chemicals) and
immediately anticipated amounts of grains and oilseeds are shown (the average yield per hectare)
used for future activities planning: seed products, malt production and/or sale.
Purchase:
Module manages data received within takeover process of goods from the manufacturer (after the
weighing and sampling processed in the laboratory). Application automatically determines if quality
of goods is satisfactory for barley or is it falls into animal feed. All important parameters were
written in contract. Minimum and maximum allowed tolerance from standard quality of brewing
barley is set. As 2nd
picture shows, application automatically and graphically shows (with red
colour) data that doesn’t meet standard quality and directly affect basic price.
There are two locations for takeover with different purchasing prices, in Nova Gradiška and in
Vukovar, which system sums up together according to given parameters. On the 1st
picture you
can see quantity of brewing barley in brown and cattle food in green colour.
Silo management:
PPK company use leased and own silos and its own drying silo. The application tracks the
movement of goods through the cell (each variety must be separate) in processes of handling,
drying, shipping and displays the status on the chart. Maximum values (capacities) are predefined
and can’t be exceeded. Manipulation weight loss is also calculated in processes (about 0.5-1 % of
the total weight is lost during transport along the tape from cell to cell due to dust and fine
grains). Also pre-calculated is the amount of goods after drying (1 % moisture = xy kg to 1
tonne).
Manipulation is done only by technologist in charge of drying and other users have read-only
access, in addition to the values of purchased goods automatically saved in one of the cells of the
silo.
Warehouse materials and finished goods:
During purchasing, calculations are printed in four copies with automatic debiting of the
warehouse. Barley admitted with brewer quality is shipped to “Slavonia Slad” company (owned by
Bortmalt, second malt producer in Europe and fifth in the world, also within Axereal group),
engaged in the production of brewer's malt distributed to breweries in whole region.
Other cultures that meet the quality are being processed into seed products production for further
use while application automatically removes from warehouse materials: 1 bag, 5 meters of sewing
thread, declaration, 0.10 litres of chemical agents for the treatment and amount of seeds, loading
back the warehouse of finished products with a bag of finished product.
Spare parts warehouse and repairs:
The company has a large machinery with over 100 tractors, 40 combine harvesters and trailer
equipment for tilting. Each machine has identification number with important information that can
be monitored whenever it enters the service and repair process:
• date of registration,
• year of production,
• kilometres travelled,
• the number of working hours
Before computerization and automatization, all records were kept manually and after first year of
application registry 1.7 million KN was saved in the consumption of spare parts and oil.
Application monitors each service, time and type, that machine performed with consumption of oil.
Example 1: if the tractor is 10 years old and worth £ 10.000, allowed expenses of annual
maintenance should not exceed £ 12.000 - machine is to write-off
Example 2: if tractor is in service for 15 days, it can’t spend 15,000 litres of diesel in that month
All necessary standards are entered in the application to ensure exact controlling of resources.
All application is installed on different computers connected to network to share data between
offices.
