Persoonlijk leiderschap wordt vaak als iets ‘vaags’ of ‘groots’ gezien. In deze workshop maken we een praktische vertaalslag met betrekking tot dit begrip: wat is het nu eigenlijk en wat heb je eraan om hiermee aan de slag te gaan als archivaris of erfgoedspecialist?
Tijdens de workshop gaan we op pragmatische wijze in op persoonlijk leiderschap en de zelfkennis die hierbij hoort. Belangrijk uitgangspunt is dat het in het dagelijks werk niet alleen om vakinhoudelijke kennis gaat, maar dat dit in combinatie met zelfkennis je juist sterker maakt. Als je als archivaris of erfgoedspecialist bewust bent wat je persoonlijke kwaliteiten en valkuilen zijn en waar je uitdagingen liggen, kun je van deze kennis veelvuldig gebruik maken in je werk en bijvoorbeeld meer uit samenwerkingen halen. Oftewel: zelfkennis is kracht en maakt je effectiever.
De workshop vraagt een actieve deelname en is praktijkgericht: gedurende de workshop gaan deelnemers aan de hand van een aantal handige tools actief met zichzelf en met elkaar aan de slag. Daarbij ontvangen deelnemers praktische handvatten en tips die vervolgens toegepast kunnen worden in het dagelijks werk. Op deze manier ontstaat meer zelfkennis met betrekking tot het eigen leiderschapsprofiel en kunnen concrete persoonlijke (vervolg)acties worden benoemd. Dit om ook na deze workshop op effectieve wijze vorm te blijven geven aan de verdere ontwikkeling van persoonlijk leiderschap.
