The students at Sant Bonaventura school want to organize Olympics games for several reasons: they want to have fun, get exercise, do something different than always studying, and make new friends from other schools. They propose holding the games using existing sports facilities in Artà, and suggest sports like football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. The students also want the teachers to participate as equals and for the games to have mixed age and school groups to promote an Olympic spirit of meeting new people. They hope to get volunteers from their school to help organize the event and plan to do some promotion around town.

2. Why do we want to do a Olympics games?
We are young, we want to have fun, we want to get fit, and for that we need
to do sport and, oh yes! in Olympic games we do sport. Also we want to do
something different at school, not always studying, because it’s boring.
And finally, we want to do it to make new friends from others schools.
Per què volem fer unes Olimpíades?
Nosaltres som joves, volem passar-nos-ho bé, volem posar-nos en forma i
per això hem de fer esport i, oh si! a les Olimpíades es fa esport. També
volem fer alguna cosa diferent a l’ escola, no sempre estudiar, que es
avorrit. I finalment ho volem fer per conèixer gent de les altres escoles.

The sports suggestd are football, basketball, voleyball, tennis and others
In Artà we have all the facilities to do the Olympics, like Ses Pesqueres,
for the football, and the sport center to the tennis, voleyball and
basketball:

7. Olympic Spirit
Another reason why we want to do the Olympics is having the
opportunity to meet new people and make new friends: we propose to
do mixed groups according to age and school.

Also, we want the teachers to take part in the games, like one of us.
They will participate in all of sports and , why not, the best teacher
will win an award.

to make more easy the organization of that games.
The students of Sant Bonaventura really like this idea and the would

(una quantitat simbòlica) per fer més fàcil l’ organització de aquests
jocs. Als alumnes de Sant Bonaventura els agrada molt aquesta idea
i els agradaria que es fes realitat.

We can do some things to issue around the town the idea
of the Olympics games, for example, an ode made by the music
class, some t-shirts with the logo of the Olimpics or posters.

unes Olímpiades, per exemple, un himne fet per la classe de
música, camisetes amb el logo de les Olímpiades o posters.
