This document outlines a scheme for managing labor and delivery based on cervical status and other factors. For women with an uncomplicated pregnancy and favorable cervix, membrane stripping and vaginal prostaglandin administration can be used to induce labor, followed by vaginal delivery if liquor is clear. For those with an unfavorable cervix, cesarean section is recommended if liquor is meconium stained or unclear, otherwise oxytocin can be used and a vaginal delivery attempted if fetal monitoring is satisfactory.
