Planning
 Including family while planning, this must first a cafe but it ended up as a food court. At first, we
cook foods which are familiar to everyone until I add some of it as it clicks to most buyers.
Organizing
 We started saving money so that we can make this court, as we have enough capital for the
business, we started to bought things such as utensils; spoon, fork, and other used for cooking,
plate or bowl and also chairs and tables. After this, we started to organize these tables in
different places so that the customer will feel comfortable while eating.
Staffing
 In this business at first, we are only the family members but since other have their own family,
we hired some employees substitute to my family members that were separated now.
Directing
 I divided them into several works; 3 were visible outside: 1 cashier and 2 waiters, 2 cooks, 2
dishwashers, 1 helper and 1 were assigned in dessert. Before I divide them into different
works, I first make sure if they were compatible to the work assigned to each of them.
Controlling
 You need to be profit-oriented; you must know what present foods were popular to the taste of
people and also the foods that they don’t want to eat. Also don’t forget to please your customer
and do not lessen the ingredients only to save money. Don’t mind your big profit, just provide
the ingredients needed.
Venn Diagram;
Since Mrs. Nenita is
not new in this busi-
ness, she used her
profit to organize
his business.
At first, she and
her husband
were the only
one who manage
the business but
as it improves, they
recruit other employee.
Ma,am Grace used
her capital in order
to organize her
business with her
husband.
At first, her whole
family manage the
business but in pre-
sent, they have
recruit come people
who can help.
They both use
Operational
Planning:
They assigned
their employee into
different activities.
They have the
characteristics of
an entrepreneur in
order to control the
flow of their
business.
Reflection:
 On our experience while interviewing successful entrepreneurs,
we realize that even though they improve their business from
smaller into larger business, they can’t forget on how they started.
They can’t forget on how they planned their business and the
reason why did they want to start these businesses. The
characteristics of an entrepreneur must always observe and seen in
order to control their business. Like what Ma’am Grace said,
“Quality over Quantity”. They don’t mind the money that they will
spent, instead they want the customer to be satisfied in their
product.
 In this activity, we’ve learned that Venn diagram can be used in
order to compare two successful entrepreneurs. We’ve learned that
entrepreneurs have their own technique in planning, organizing,
staffing, directing and controlling their business or what we called
“POSDC”.
