- 3. HI I believe that urban design should go beyond building form and physicality and trascend into the idea of creating a memorable and comfortable user experience. As urban designer, we have the power to design the spaces where these experiences are born. Through a building design, users and visitors can be able to feel inspired, identified, and mentally enhanced. A good design must not be forced, but rather, must grow from its context as a guiding point and become refined by the given function and experience that is meant to be created.

- 8. 01 This work contemplate this complexity to describe the reality of New Orleans, and how race, place, and poverty influence the cultural landscape of the town. Through this analysis of the city we can begin to understand some of the myriad reasons that contribute to this tenuous balance between a city full of life and a city full of inequalities and disparities.

- 10. This work is focused on the relationship between positive and negative influences. Because the 9th ward is in a flood zone and will most likely flood again at some point in the future, people have to live with water. What’s more, geographic spaces which can support housing will be smaller as the 9th ward loses additional dry ground. Our proposal recommends using a smaller geographic area for housing to in turn give the community as a whole more area for economic, social, educational, and environmental use. - 20. China's household registration system limited rural people can't access welfare benefits in urban area. Then, they have to save money to pay high living cost in cities. What they did causes a unique problem in China---- left-behind children and left- behind olders. This thesis will focus on how to bring people back to rural area. 03

- 28. Considering global warming, human lose scads of area with sea level rises and desert grows. “PRINT” is a method to solve future land requirements. It can be applied on the desert, shoal, and wetland in the future to expand the area of land for human. 04

- 32. “PRINT” not only solves those problems, but also it can be built easily one by one in different sites. The new cities grow like CELL DIVISION. Years later, “PRINT” will become satellite town which is full of the desert, wetland or shoal. What’s more, the new house design, clean energy system, clean household garbage circle, and solar energy are working together in “PRINT”, which create a sustainable green living environment for human. These elements are able to fit a different area by only changing a few parts of entire system.

- 44. The homeless have no place to meet basic hygiene needs. The Wash Box is a movable, self-sustaining restroom and shower facility fashioned from unused box cars and utilizing sustainable systems. The project is built on tracks and able to be moved to desired locations. In this project the homeless can safely meet their hygiene needs in privacy and with dignity. 07
