VARGARIES
EPHEMERAL Beauty shows the depths in every consciousness from which we cannot convey--to which none can go with us. It is
quality that portrays whatever pleases or satisfies the senses of the mind. It is organic textures, line, form, and multiple
sources of light. Beauty resides everywhere you wish to find it. It is vargaries off humanity. There you will find spiritual
qualities of ephemeral beauty. Since beauty is ephemeral, we base our judgement on our surrounding environment.

The Williamson’s is a residential project for a family of 5. The client’s needs and wants were to have enough space for their
three children, individual bedrooms, kids bath, storage space, multiple entertaining areas, and directional pathways throughout
the house. The family collects manholes. To encorporate this interest, we have designed a man hole specifically for the
Williamson’s as a greeting at their front door. From there you will see functional spaces for the entire family that provides
comfort, eco-friendly materials, and a neutral color pallette to provide a relaxing setting for family and friends.

PERSPECTIVE
The three boxes emphasize the process phases of design: programming, schematics and design development. The
boxes are to be placed upon a rotator to encourage interaction, change of direction and perspective. Since design is
always changing, the direction of the boxes change. Not only do they change, but the panels within the boxes can be
removed. Line is shown by the 3-dimensional boxes to emphasize shape. The conceptual idea overall is to let you as
a viewer interact and really take in the design from the beginning phase to the end phase, inside and out.
