With more than 50 years of experience in polyolefin catalysts, Grace
Davison expanded its catalyst portfolio with the acquisition of Borealis AB’s spherical mag-
nesium chloride (MgCl2) technology and production capability. POLYTRAK 8500 is the
high activity fourth generation Ziegler-Natta (ZN) catalyst that has been commercially
proven in the Borstar® and Spheripol™ process technology platforms.
