Jef Raskin, who named the Macintosh computer, passed away from pancreatic cancer at age 61. He was hired at Apple in 1978 when it only had 30 employees and led the development team that created the simple and economic Macintosh computer. He is known for creating the "Drag and Drop" feature of the Mac OS graphical interface. Raskin quit the project in 1981 following a conflict with Steve Jobs.
