A couple searches for food in the woods after a war, but hears a noise and fears they are being followed. As they run away, one is shot, and their eye view fades to a "film within a film" showing life before war, then to white to represent death. The other character takes their loved one's belongings to keep surviving. The opening scene aims to subvert typical gender roles by showing the woman as strong and the man as weak.

1. Plot
Our plot is about a couple surviving after a war between 2 communities (Hunger
Games inspiration). The couple will be walking through he woods whilst searching for
food when they hear a twig snap and makes them both cautious they are being
followed (The Road inspiration). They run away until one of them gets shot, the
camera will zoom in to the characters eye which we hope to involve a film in film
which will show what life used to be before the war, this will then fade white to
indicate death and the man going to heaven . There will be a close up of the
characters wallet which has an item of significance which the killer will take (The
Book of Eli inspiration) and we will focus on that item. The other character will take
the loved ones belongings such as clothes to keep surviving (The Road inspiration).
Our opening scene's aim is to break the typical representation of women as the
weak and the men being strong, we aim to reverse the roles.
