What drives these patterns (there are many factors and you need to include as many as you can-> shape of the planet, heating by the sun, temperature of air and how much water it holds, Coriolis effect, the position of continents, ocean currents, etc. etc. etc.). What about exceptions to the rule? For example, bands of wet and dry habits can be disrupted in certain parts of the planet where you might observe a particular biome in a location where you wouldn't expect it. (The converse is also true: biomes are often missing from locations where you'd expect them)..
