2. After the tiring trek from Phakding to Namche, now it’s time to take some peaceful rest at
this arrival spot. Rest does not always literally mean rest; you can roam around the town and
give a visit to the National Park headquarters, can enjoy the firmness of Mount Everest.
Additionally, you can also enjoy shopping here in the local market.
Day 4: Trek from Namche to Deboche
On this day, I hope you will get acclimatized with the adventure of the trekking path. Along
the road from Namche to Deboche, you will be able to experience descending and ascending
steepness along with quite a flat surface. It will be enjoyable.
Day 5: Hike from Deboche to Dingboche
Enjoy the cover given by trees to the shrubland of Dingboche. This river valley trek,
according to me, is easier than the others.
Day 6: Rest at Dingboche
While on a trek, breaks on a regular interval are
always needed to take care of the health. If not,
then you won’t be able to enjoy the days. So after
reaching Dingboche, take some breath there and
keep that day off.
Day 7: Climb up Lobuche from Dingboche
This is the place where many of the Everest
climbers died. Bring their memories alive, who
could not make it to the top, even after reaching so
near to the destination. You will surely have goosebumps on your body, trust me!!
Day 8 Part 1: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep & then to Everest Base Camp & again to
Gorak Shep
Now it’s time to reach the Nepal Everest Base Camp. From Lobuche, you have to trek
towards Gorak Shep and then, from there, hike up to the Everest Base Camp and enjoy the
satisfaction of success. And this pathway of Gorak Shep to the Base Camp will give you an
ultimate feeling of the trek.
Day 8 Part 2: Hiking from Gorak Shep to Kalapathar
3. While staying overnight at Gorak Shep, now it's time to experience the splendor of Mount
Everest at Kalapathar. So, the next trek will be from Gorak Shep to Kalapathar. The chilled
icy feeling will go through your bones and you will enjoy the tingle in your heart.
Day 9-12: Returning to Lukla
Come down to Lukla on the 12th day of your trekking adventure and breathe in the oxygen-
enriched air.
Day 13: Flight to Kathmandu
Return back from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning flight.
