Everest Base Camp Trek
Everest Base Camp is in the mouth of everyone and Everest Base Camp Trek is one of
the popular treks in the world. This trek will surely give an awesome experience for
any trekker. Trekking to Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular activities
among people who visits Nepal for a holiday. A breath-taking flight to Lukla airport,
stunning Himalayan scenery, world's biggest desert-like glaciers, high thrilling
trekking passes and warm, hospitable Sherpa culture together with hundreds of
years old monasteries are main attractions of Everest Base Camp Trekking. Everest
Base Camp Trek is famous for high standard adventures and friendly Sherpa people
of Khumbu region. Trekking to the foot of the world's highest peak, may not be
simple but with determination and courage, it's not impossible to achieve it. Everest
Base Camp Trekking is the ultimate trek in many ways. The trek starts after an
adventurous and thrilling flight to Lukla. The flight itself gives impressive impression
of great mountain views (and heart-stopping approach and landing !) and the trek
will take you through wide areas of stunning landscapes, ethnic settlements, years
old Buddhist monasteries at Monjo, Namche, Tengpoche and Panboche, and
ultimately to the midst of towering peaks including but not limited to Ama Dablam,
Kang Tega, Nuptse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaro, Pumori, Lhotse, Lobuche, Isalnd
Peak, Makalu and breathtaking Everest itself. Everest Base Camp Trek is a
moderately strenuous trip that is suitable for trekkers with at least basic trekking
experience in the past. One without previous trekking experiences can also join our
treks to Everest Base Camp however people with previous trekking experiences will
not need to endure difficulties that a novice may require to endure. The trek starts
with small and gentle downhill walk from Lukla to Phakding. Continuing further
towards north, there are several gentle and steep ascents. The trail will seem to be
strenuous as we climb further as an effect of high altitude. We may need to
acclimatize properly to get rid of altitude sickness during the trek. Ultimately we'll
reach 5550 meters - high enough! Everest Base Camp Trekking is famous for its

incomparable snowy Himalayas and the loyalty and friendliness of its inhabitants
(the smiling Sherpa people).

here the trail to Gokyo Lake and the trail to Everest Base Camp separates. The trail
on the left hand side takes you to Gokyo Lake where the trail on the right hand side
takes you to Everest Base Camp, so we follow the right trail. From here the trail
steeps down until we reach Phunki Tenga for our lunch. This place has very few
lodges with basic services available. Once we finish our breakfast we again cross
Dudhkoshi River before ascending to reach Tengboche. The trail again goes steep up
through beautiful forests with numerous views of villages in the horizon. As the trail

take a tea or a coffee in front of those beautiful Himalayan peaks else continue to
our lunch spot called Somare. Somare is tiny town with basic lodges and numerous
tea houses available for lunch. Most travelers / trekkers heading to Dingboche or

you want. Once you wake up you will be served with your breakfast in the lodge. If
interested we can climb to top of the hill for acclimatization purposes. Climbing high
and sleeping low is considered as good way to acclimatize with your body. This is
steep climbing to this hill and you will also see many people climbing uphill or
returning downhill. From the top of the hill you will also see beautiful views of many
Himalayan ranges including Makalu. Alternatively, you can also go to Chukung
(4,730M). Chhukung is the last village for people heading to Island Peak Climbing.
(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 08: Trek to Lobuche (4,910M / 5 - 6 Hours)
We will start the trail through gentle uphill climbing on the top of Pheriche Village.
Here the trail is mostly clear, remains no trees and the towering Himalayas will be
always beside us. Continuing the walk for nearly 2 hours we will be crossing small
stream before we reach Dughla. There are only couple of lodges or guest houses
available for meals. If hungry we can stop here for lunch else we will take some hot
drinks before starting steep climbing to Dughla Pass. From here the condition of the
trail is not satisfactory. The trail consists of numerous huge rocks and yaks will be
passing nearby. In one hand the trail is steep and in another hand we will be walking
in high altitude. Getting tiredness is normal for almost everyone. Ascending further
we will reach a places with many memorials made in the memory of climbers who
passed away in this region. We ascend a little more from here we will reach the trail
coming from Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass. The trail will become slightly easier from
here and mostly we will be walking on the flat. Here we come at Lobuche. Lobuche
has few houses and all of them are only for commercial purposes i.e. guest houses,
lodges, small tea shops etc. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

do not have any steep climbing though it will be difficult and tiring due to high
elevation. We will be walking in between 4,900 meters to 5,300 meters on this day.
The trail is quite wide and easy to walk. It is short hike to reach Gorakshep.
Once we reach Gorakshep we will keep our belongings in the lodge before we have
our lunch. Once we get our lunch we will start our hiking to Everest Base Camp
before it's too late. The hike is about 5/6 hours in total. It is one of the longest,
hardest and important days in our adventure. The route from Gorakshep to Everest
Base Camp includes numerous short ups and downs. The trail condition is not
satisfactory everywhere and includes many small rocks along the route. Be careful
while walking so the rocks won't slip you and make fall down. Enjoy breath taking
views of Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse along with several other peaks. On a lucky
day you will also be able to enjoy some of the avalanches on the another side of
Khumbu glacier; one of the biggest glaciers in the world. Once we reach Everest Base
Camp we will enjoy taking some pictures. Give some time to enjoy and play with
nature because you won't find Everest Base Camp anywhere else in the world. After
finishing our activities around the base camp we will return back to Gorakshep
through same trail and prepare for another day. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 10: Hike to Kalapatthar (5,545M / 3 Hours), trek down to Pangboche (3,930M /
5 Hours)
Honestly, the hike to Kalapatthar is not easy. It is early morning cold walking in the
dark but trust us it's enjoyable and it will be one of the memorable time of your life.
Don't get slipped in the icy trail. Depending on the sunrise time your guide will give
you time to start hiking to reach this beautiful hill top. Wake up on time and prepare
cloths that won't let you be cold. The hike from Gorakshep to Kalapatthar is about an
hour steep climbing. Depending on your walking speed it may take a little more or
less.
Kalapatthar is the same place where world's highest cabinet meeting was held by
Nepal Government to aware world global warming and about the speedily melting
Himalayas. Kalapatthar gives authentic and magnificent views of Himalayas just in
front of you. It's wonderful view point that only few people have seen it.
Congratulations to witness this heavenly place with Himalayan Leisure, Inc. Take
some shots of you and peaks, enjoy your photography in this place before we will
again return back to our lodge to start walking down to Pangboche. Once we return
back to our lodge in Gorakshep we will have our breakfast and get ready to descend
down. The trail is about the same that we used to ascend up. The only difference is
that in stead of going to Dingboche we will descend down to Pheriche and reach
Pangboche directly. It will make the trek little shorter and we will also have chance
to visit another visit. Pangboche is the place where many mountaineers were born.
Pangboche is also the last village for climbers heading to Mt. Amadablam. (Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440M / 7 Hours)
https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 6
We are descending down to conclude our adventure soon. We will have our
breakfast in the hotel before we start walking down. This is the same route that we
used to go up on previous days. We will be walking through beautiful villages along
the way like Debuche, Tengboche, Phunki Tenga, Kyanjuma etc. before we reach
Namche Bazaar. The views of Himalayas will be still there along with us. The trek is
about 5/6 hours in total. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 12: Trek to Lukla, final night in Himalayas (2,840M / 6 - 7 Hours)
Enjoy your time in Namche before we start our short trekking to Phakding village and
then to Lukla. From Namche it's mostly downhill until we reach Phakding. From
Phakding it's all the way gentle uphill till we reach Lukla. We will be walking through
beautiful green forests having views of villages in the cliffs. Animals are rare though
some lucky trekkers will also see Himalayan Thar near the forest. Crossing numerous
stunning suspension bridges we will reach Phakding. We will have our lunch in
Phakding and continue our journey to Lukla. We are coming to conclude our
memorable trekking. This is the last day and our final night in the Himalayas. Like the
previous day there is no rush to reach Lukla. We can sleep till late morning and start
the trek before noon. The trail from Phakding to Lukla is mostly gentle uphill. On the
way we can enjoy stunning in the horizon. We will also have sights of flights coming
to Lukla and flights taking off from Lukla. They look awesome when we are close to
Lukla. Once we reach Lukla we can enjoy some beers or cocktails. Lukla is one of the
major towns in this area. It's your last day with your Sherpa helper so it's time to give
them some gratitude [tips] if you are happy with the services. It will be expected
from your staffs and we also recommend you to tip them according to your
satisfaction and ability. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 13: Fly to Kathmandu in the morning, transfer to Hotel (1,310M / 30 minutes
flight)
We take the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu. Enjoy another breath taking
flight to Kathmandu. The flight is about 30 minutes and will give you some thrilling
experience for sure. You can relax and stay in hotel or explore around the town for
some shopping to your friends and family members. Once your guide will drop you in
hotel he may left you. You can also give him some gratitude if you are happy with his
services. Some trekkers / our customers also invite guides for a dinner together in
Kathmandu. This can be the last day that you will meet your guide. Enjoy your last
days around the valley. If you are willing about other activities like Jungle Safari or
Rafting or Paragliding then we will assist you accordingly. (Breakfast)
DAY 14: Rest and buffer day in Kathmandu (1,310M)
Lukla gets occasional flight delays during main season. This may cause missing your
international flights as well so we recommend you to prepare accordingly. Lukla
suffers with quick weather changes and that may affect inbound and outbound
flights. We reserved this day for possible flight delays. In case we have timely flight
https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 7
on DAY 14 then we can use this day as rest and exploring day in Kathmandu. We can
shop around local markets and walk around the city. (Breakfast)
DAY 15: Departure or extend your trip
We will drop you in the airport by our private vehicle according to your airport time.
Nepal airport often has hassles for travelers so it is good if you reach airport at least

Experience Required
Everest Base Camp Trekking is considered as one of the difficult treks of it's category.
The trek is done by hundreds of trekkers everyday during main season (March, April,
October, November). Many of them get succeed to complete the trek with little or
no pain though many of them fail as well. Everest Base Camp Trek is a difficult trek;
we must say. Although the trail itself is not difficult the altitude that will take us as
high as 5,545 meters will make you hard to breath. Altitude is the main reason of the
trek being difficult. For a trekker who is experienced in high altitude previously will
find the trek easy to moderate level. If you are new in trekking then we recommend
you to have some training at home. You can practice walking around the hills that
might be available around your place or just walk regularly at home before heading
to Nepal. Training will make your trek a lot easier comparing to the ones coming
without any trainings. The route is mostly gentle to steep climbing (in some places
only) while heading towards Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp while the trail is
mostly downhill while returning back to Lukla. Everest Base Camp Trek is amazing
trekking with no doubt. For people with knee problems we recommend you to bring
proper knee support else you may suffer a lot. Nothing can guarantee your success
in this extreme altitude but slow and steady walk does. You can prepare with regular
cardiovascular training at home i.e. cycling, swimming, hill climbing and lots of
walking. You can prepare your mind for 5 - 6 hours walk everyday during the trek.
Seek out hills or find a tall building and repeatedly walk up and down the stairs. It
may help you a lot during the trek in the Himalayas.
Meals on Trek
Basic meals are available in tea houses during the whole route. These meals are
prepared once it's ordered by the guests. There are rare cases of meals not being
fresh in the mountains. Most places on Everest Base Camp Trekking offers wider
range of meal options with better quality comparing to Annapurna and Langtang
areas. Various meals including noodles, soups, handmade breads, rice items, curries,
spaghetti, pizza, egg items, potatoes are served on the trek. Meats are available in
most places however we recommend you not to take meat items as they are not
fresh and sometimes can be unhealthy to your body. Please do not expect western
meals prepared in the remote villages similar to the one you may eat in your home
or restaurants in cities. They are basic meals served only to countdown your hunger.
We will provide 3 meals; i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner with hot drinks on the trek.
Generally, dinner and breakfast is served in a lodge and lunch is served during the
walk / daytime. You will have full options or freedom to select your preferred items
from a small menu provided by the lodge. Meals in the mountain tastes awesome
comparing to cities as most raw materials are locally prepared. Everest Base Camp
Trek has wider meal options for trekkers comparing to other minor trekking routes.
We provide breakfasts even in Kathmandu at your hotel. You will have a menu to
select your meals or foods will be served in buffet system. The hotel itself will select
the appropriate method depending on the volume of customers.
Accommodation
https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 10
Accommodation in Kathmandu will be standard hotel. We will accommodate you in
3 star category hotel. You will be accommodated in an air conditioned private room.
We provide one double room for two customers ( unless you are single customer ).
These rooms will have either master bed or two single beds. If you have special
preference on bed selection then please inform us in advance, we will try to book
the room appropriate for your stay.
We provide twin sharing rooms during Everest base camp trekking again unless you
are single. Lodges in Everest region are high in standard comparing the ones in
Annapurna and Langtang areas. You are likely to have no complains regarding your
accommodation in this area but you won't believe that how these standard lodges
are made in these remote places of Khumbu. Everest Base Camp Trekking has
numerous lodges for your meals and accommodation purposes. These lodges
provide you rooms with blankets included in main places however we recommend
you to carry own sleeping bag as well. We will be accommodating you in the lodges
on the whole trek, there won't be any camping involved. These lodges have small
rooms that provide basic lodging experience during your trek. Although the lodges
are standard please do not expect high standard rooms specially in the mountains. If
you are seeking luxury type of accommodation then please consider our Everest
Luxury Trekking which involves luxury accommodation during the whole trek. Almost
every rooms during the trek consists of two single beds that will accommodate two
person. If you are a single trekker then sometimes you may need to share your room
with someone else in some cases as places like Lobuche and Gorakshep have limited
number of lodges ( same sex ). Even if you are traveling in a group and prefer single
room then upon paying single supplement charges we will try our best to provide
you single rooms. If we are unable to provide single rooms then we will refund your
single supplement charges. Some places in Everest Base Camp Trek only have basic
small lodges that may not be comfortable sometime. We hope you will cooperate
with us in these cases.
Best Season
Everest Base Camp Trek is a high altitude trekking route in Khumbu region. This
trekking can be done throughout the year however February to May and October to
December are better months comparing to other months i.e. June, July, January etc.
During best months the sky is generally crystal clear, the views are breathtaking and
the weather is lovely as well. June to September is monsoon season although
trekking is still doable in Khumbu area. Trekkers do Everest Base Camp Trekking
throughout the year. Monsoon is not good season; both for views and trails though
few trekkers trek in this area everyday. During this period it rains frequently in the
late afternoon, night and early morning that leaves the trail wet and slippery as well.
The sky is cloudy. The views are not clear during monsoon season where mid winter
season i.e. late December and January is very cold in high areas. Monsoon season
may not show you any mountain views or will see only for a short time. March to
April is the months of blossoming season of rhododendron and many other flowers
which looks very beautiful lush of green forests. From October to December you will
see more green forests in the region. Everest Base Camp Trekking is best during
spring and autumn season. As this is the ultimate adventure of your life we
https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 11
recommend you to plan the trek properly and during best months though Himalayan
Leisure, Inc. will be able to arrange your trip throughout the year.
Highlights of the Trip
Everest Base Camp Trek has uncountable number of highlights. It's not easy to write
them all in a small paragraph, the best way is to experience it yourself. However we
have included some of the major highlights of the trek. The main highlight is the
flight to Lukla airport. This flight is thrilling and adventurous as well; Lukla airport is
considered as one of the 10 most dangerous airports in the world. We will be

Tengboche, Pangboche etc. has beautiful monasteries. We may experience Sherpa
culture and lifestyles by visiting these monasteries. Tengboche monastery also have

such as Thamserku, Kangtega, Kusum Kangaro, Lobuche, Makalu, Island Peak,
Cholatse, Tabuche, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse etc. including the majestic MT. Everest.

climbing season, you may experience a market in Everest Base Camp as well. Everest
region is impressive and Everest Base Camp Trekking is part of it. From March to

Camp Trekking is undoubtedly an amazing trek that can't be explained with words.
We hope you will enjoy this stunning adventure!
Equipment and Packing List
Everest Base Camp Trekking involves some of the wilderness treks in high altitude.
This trek needs various equipment and gears however these list can vary depending
on your fitness, experience, health conditions etc. Please consult with us if you have
any confusions. We tried our best to list down most gears needed for the trek. All
the gears might not be required for all trekkers. Please select the appropriate items
from the list below. This list is for your valued information only. A majority of gears

Everest base camp trek

  • 1. https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 1 Everest Base Camp Trek Everest Base Camp is in the mouth of everyone and Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the popular treks in the world. This trek will surely give an awesome experience for any trekker. Trekking to Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular activities among people who visits Nepal for a holiday. A breath-taking flight to Lukla airport, stunning Himalayan scenery, world's biggest desert-like glaciers, high thrilling trekking passes and warm, hospitable Sherpa culture together with hundreds of years old monasteries are main attractions of Everest Base Camp Trekking. Everest Base Camp Trek is famous for high standard adventures and friendly Sherpa people of Khumbu region. Trekking to the foot of the world's highest peak, may not be simple but with determination and courage, it's not impossible to achieve it. Everest Base Camp Trekking is the ultimate trek in many ways. The trek starts after an adventurous and thrilling flight to Lukla. The flight itself gives impressive impression of great mountain views (and heart-stopping approach and landing !) and the trek will take you through wide areas of stunning landscapes, ethnic settlements, years old Buddhist monasteries at Monjo, Namche, Tengpoche and Panboche, and ultimately to the midst of towering peaks including but not limited to Ama Dablam, Kang Tega, Nuptse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaro, Pumori, Lhotse, Lobuche, Isalnd Peak, Makalu and breathtaking Everest itself. Everest Base Camp Trek is a moderately strenuous trip that is suitable for trekkers with at least basic trekking experience in the past. One without previous trekking experiences can also join our treks to Everest Base Camp however people with previous trekking experiences will not need to endure difficulties that a novice may require to endure. The trek starts with small and gentle downhill walk from Lukla to Phakding. Continuing further towards north, there are several gentle and steep ascents. The trail will seem to be strenuous as we climb further as an effect of high altitude. We may need to acclimatize properly to get rid of altitude sickness during the trek. Ultimately we'll reach 5550 meters - high enough! Everest Base Camp Trekking is famous for its

Here the trail is mostly clear, remains no trees and the towering Himalayas will be always beside us. Continuing the walk for nearly 2 hours we will be crossing small stream before we reach Dughla. There are only couple of lodges or guest houses available for meals. If hungry we can stop here for lunch else we will take some hot drinks before starting steep climbing to Dughla Pass. From here the condition of the trail is not satisfactory. The trail consists of numerous huge rocks and yaks will be passing nearby. In one hand the trail is steep and in another hand we will be walking in high altitude. Getting tiredness is normal for almost everyone. Ascending further we will reach a places with many memorials made in the memory of climbers who passed away in this region. We ascend a little more from here we will reach the trail coming from Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass. The trail will become slightly easier from here and mostly we will be walking on the flat. The trail is quite wide and easy to walk. It is short hike to reach Gorakshep. Once we reach Gorakshep we will keep our belongings in the lodge before we have our lunch. Once we get our lunch we will start our hiking to Everest Base Camp before it's too late. The hike is about 5/6 hours in total. It is one of the longest, hardest and important days in our adventure. The route from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp includes numerous short ups and downs. The trail condition is not satisfactory everywhere and includes many small rocks along the route. Be careful while walking so the rocks won't slip you and make fall down. Enjoy breath taking views of Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse along with several other peaks. On a lucky day you will also be able to enjoy some of the avalanches on the another side of Khumbu glacier; one of the biggest glaciers in the world. Once we reach Everest Base Camp we will enjoy taking some pictures. Give some time to enjoy and play with nature because you won't find Everest Base Camp anywhere else in the world. After finishing our activities around the base camp we will return back to Gorakshep through same trail and prepare for another day. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) DAY 10: Hike to Kalapatthar (5,545M / 3 Hours), trek down to Pangboche (3,930M / 5 Hours) Honestly, the hike to Kalapatthar is not easy. It is early morning cold walking in the dark but trust us it's enjoyable and it will be one of the memorable time of your life. Don't get slipped in the icy trail. Depending on the sunrise time your guide will give you time to start hiking to reach this beautiful hill top. Wake up on time and prepare cloths that won't let you be cold. The hike from Gorakshep to Kalapatthar is about an hour steep climbing. Depending on your walking speed it may take a little more or less. Kalapatthar is the same place where world's highest cabinet meeting was held by Nepal Government to aware world global warming and about the speedily melting Himalayas. Kalapatthar gives authentic and magnificent views of Himalayas just in front of you. It's wonderful view point that only few people have seen it. Congratulations to witness this heavenly place with Himalayan Leisure, Inc. Take some shots of you and peaks, enjoy your photography in this place before we will again return back to our lodge to start walking down to Pangboche. Once we return back to our lodge in Gorakshep we will have our breakfast and get ready to descend down. The trail is about the same that we used to ascend up. The only difference is that in stead of going to Dingboche we will descend down to Pheriche and reach Pangboche directly. It will make the trek little shorter and we will also have chance to visit another visit. Pangboche is the place where many mountaineers were born. Pangboche is also the last village for climbers heading to Mt. Amadablam. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) DAY 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440M / 7 Hours)

  • 9. https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 9 Kathmandu 1,310 Experience Required Everest Base Camp Trekking is considered as one of the difficult treks of it's category. The trek is done by hundreds of trekkers everyday during main season (March, April, October, November). Many of them get succeed to complete the trek with little or no pain though many of them fail as well. Everest Base Camp Trek is a difficult trek; we must say. Although the trail itself is not difficult the altitude that will take us as high as 5,545 meters will make you hard to breath. Altitude is the main reason of the trek being difficult. For a trekker who is experienced in high altitude previously will find the trek easy to moderate level. If you are new in trekking then we recommend you to have some training at home. You can practice walking around the hills that might be available around your place or just walk regularly at home before heading to Nepal. Training will make your trek a lot easier comparing to the ones coming without any trainings. The route is mostly gentle to steep climbing (in some places only) while heading towards Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp while the trail is mostly downhill while returning back to Lukla. Everest Base Camp Trek is amazing trekking with no doubt. For people with knee problems we recommend you to bring proper knee support else you may suffer a lot. Nothing can guarantee your success in this extreme altitude but slow and steady walk does. You can prepare with regular cardiovascular training at home i.e. cycling, swimming, hill climbing and lots of walking. You can prepare your mind for 5 - 6 hours walk everyday during the trek. Seek out hills or find a tall building and repeatedly walk up and down the stairs. It may help you a lot during the trek in the Himalayas. Meals on Trek Basic meals are available in tea houses during the whole route. These meals are prepared once it's ordered by the guests. There are rare cases of meals not being fresh in the mountains. Most places on Everest Base Camp Trekking offers wider range of meal options with better quality comparing to Annapurna and Langtang areas. Various meals including noodles, soups, handmade breads, rice items, curries, spaghetti, pizza, egg items, potatoes are served on the trek. Meats are available in most places however we recommend you not to take meat items as they are not fresh and sometimes can be unhealthy to your body. Please do not expect western meals prepared in the remote villages similar to the one you may eat in your home or restaurants in cities. They are basic meals served only to countdown your hunger. We will provide 3 meals; i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner with hot drinks on the trek. Generally, dinner and breakfast is served in a lodge and lunch is served during the walk / daytime. You will have full options or freedom to select your preferred items from a small menu provided by the lodge. Meals in the mountain tastes awesome comparing to cities as most raw materials are locally prepared. Everest Base Camp Trek has wider meal options for trekkers comparing to other minor trekking routes. We provide breakfasts even in Kathmandu at your hotel. You will have a menu to select your meals or foods will be served in buffet system. The hotel itself will select the appropriate method depending on the volume of customers. Accommodation
  • 10. https://goo.gl/1Kmk7W 10 Accommodation in Kathmandu will be standard hotel. We will accommodate you in 3 star category hotel. You will be accommodated in an air conditioned private room. We provide one double room for two customers ( unless you are single customer ). These rooms will have either master bed or two single beds. If you have special preference on bed selection then please inform us in advance, we will try to book the room appropriate for your stay. We provide twin sharing rooms during Everest base camp trekking again unless you are single. Lodges in Everest region are high in standard comparing the ones in Annapurna and Langtang areas. You are likely to have no complains regarding your accommodation in this area but you won't believe that how these standard lodges are made in these remote places of Khumbu. Everest Base Camp Trekking has numerous lodges for your meals and accommodation purposes. These lodges provide you rooms with blankets included in main places however we recommend you to carry own sleeping bag as well. We will be accommodating you in the lodges on the whole trek, there won't be any camping involved. These lodges have small rooms that provide basic lodging experience during your trek. Although the lodges are standard please do not expect high standard rooms specially in the mountains. If you are seeking luxury type of accommodation then please consider our Everest Luxury Trekking which involves luxury accommodation during the whole trek. Almost every rooms during the trek consists of two single beds that will accommodate two person. If you are a single trekker then sometimes you may need to share your room with someone else in some cases as places like Lobuche and Gorakshep have limited number of lodges ( same sex ). Even if you are traveling in a group and prefer single room then upon paying single supplement charges we will try our best to provide you single rooms. If we are unable to provide single rooms then we will refund your single supplement charges. Some places in Everest Base Camp Trek only have basic small lodges that may not be comfortable sometime. We hope you will cooperate with us in these cases. Best Season Everest Base Camp Trek is a high altitude trekking route in Khumbu region. This trekking can be done throughout the year however February to May and October to December are better months comparing to other months i.e. June, July, January etc. During best months the sky is generally crystal clear, the views are breathtaking and the weather is lovely as well. June to September is monsoon season although trekking is still doable in Khumbu area. Trekkers do Everest Base Camp Trekking throughout the year.
