In the Spring of 2007 Harry Baum made a presentation at the annual North American Society for Trenchless Technology convention, which was held in San Diego, California. Harry originally contacted Steve Wentworth about his concept--a process/tool to strip failed polyethylene liners from the inside of buried pipes.Steve and Harry perfected that concept and filed for patent protection on the tool. Harry then hired Fishel Co. as a sub-contractor to assist with the work.

Questions are invited at the end.
This document contains Bob Eko Kurniawan's individual action plan for Mercy Corps in Indonesia. It begins with an introduction to Mercy Corps, describing its work in enabling community-led recovery, finding social innovations, and inspiring engagement on global challenges. It then analyzes Mercy Corps' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Based on this analysis, Bob's strategy focuses on expanding education, food, and economic programs; improving gender equality; engaging more public-private partnerships; strengthening disease awareness; and encouraging environmentally friendly practices. The plan outlines objectives, strategies, and targets for each area through 2014.
Fr. Alan Mowbray discusses how Jesus challenged the superficial rules of the Old Testament leaders, asking them to consider deeper values like compassion. Jesus called them to love their enemies as well as their friends. Similarly, people today should question whether the values of their peer groups align with Christian values. Bending rules to suit oneself can undermine integrity and justice in society. Jesus taught that true happiness comes from hungering and thirsting for what is right.
Rani Lakshmibai was the queen of Jhansi, a princely state in North India. After the death of her husband, the king, the British East India Company annexed Jhansi under the Doctrine of Lapse and forced Lakshmibai to leave the palace. During the Indian Rebellion of 1857, she emerged as a leading rebel leader, determined to regain control of Jhansi. She scored several victories against the British but was eventually killed in battle in June 1858. Her defiance and military skills made her a symbol of resistance against British colonial rule.
The document discusses principles of assessment for early childhood education. It recommends that assessments should promote learning, use multiple sources of information, involve children and families, be fair for all children, and be appropriate for the child's age, language, and tailored to the purpose of identifying development, progress, or needed assistance. Assessments should benefit children and improve learning rather than just accountability.

The primary purpose of assessment is to improve student learning and teaching. Assessment provides timely feedback to students about their understanding to help them adjust their learning and identify areas for growth. Teachers use assessment to determine instructional effectiveness and guide future teaching. Assessment information can be used by students, teachers, parents, school leaders, and other stakeholders to determine next steps for teaching and learning and support program and policy improvement.
The document discusses the concept of an author's tone, defined as the attitude or feelings conveyed by their writing. It provides examples from various texts to illustrate how tone is established through word choices and details. The document analyzes how different tones create distinct atmospheres and intended moods for readers. Key tones identified include serious, solemn, sarcastic, humorous, enthusiastic, hostile, grieving and objective.
This document provides guidance on engineering and piping design for Fiber Glass Systems fiberglass reinforced piping systems. It discusses product selection and applications, preliminary and detailed pipe sizing methods for liquid and gas flow, designing above ground piping systems using supports, anchors and guides, addressing temperature effects through thermal expansion analysis and flexibility design, considerations for pipe burial, and other design factors. Standard specifications and approvals for fiberglass piping systems are also covered.
Classification either on quality or type based for groundwater can offer great advantages especially in regional groundwater management. It provides a short, quick processing, interpretation for a lot of complete hydro-chemical data sets and concise presentation of the results. There is a demonstrable need for a quality assurance, with the advanced usage of world's largest fresh water storage i.e Ground water. Its getting depleted over the years and the quality of the same degrading with a rapid pace. Ground water Quality is assessed mainly by the chemical analysis of samples. The data obtained from the chemical analysis is key for the further classification, analysis, correlation etc. Graphical and Numerical interpretation of the data is the main source for Hydro-chemical studies. In this paper we test the performance of the many available graphical and statistical methodologies used to classify water samples including: Collins bar diagram, Stiff pattern diagram, Schoeller plot, Piper diagram, Durov's Double Triangular Diagram, Gibbs's Diagram, Stuyfzand Classification. This paper explains various models which classify, correlate etc., summarizing the water quality data. The basic graphs and diagrams in each category are explained by sample diagrams. In addition to the diagrams an overall characterization of hydro-chemical facies of the water can be carried out by using plots which represents a water type and hardness domain. The combination of graphical and statistical techniques provides a consistent and objective means to classify large numbers of samples while retaining the ease of classic graphical presentation.
The document provides an overview of process plant piping system design. It discusses key components of piping systems including pipe, fittings, flanges, gaskets, bolting, valves and supports. It describes design requirements according to the ASME B31.3 code and considerations for material selection such as strength, corrosion resistance, toughness and cost. Examples of stress analysis, flange rating determination and valve selection are also provided.
The document defines a partnership under Indian law as a relationship between persons who have agreed to share the profits of a business carried on by all or any of them acting for all. The essential elements of a partnership are a contract between two or more persons to carry on business with the objective of sharing profits. There are two main kinds of partnerships - partnership at will which has an indefinite duration, and particular partnership which is formed for a fixed term or venture. A partnership can be dissolved by agreement between partners, by notice from a partner, or upon certain events such as the expiration of a fixed term, completion of an undertaking, death or insolvency of a partner.
