The Castello del Valentino in Turin, Italy was built between 1630-1660 by Carlo di Castellamonte in the style of a 16th century French chateau and served as a royal residence where public feasts and tournaments were held. It now houses the University of Turin's Faculty of Architecture and is located in the beautiful Valentino Park along the Po River.

It was built in 1630-60 by Carlo di Castellamonte after
the style of a 16th century french chateau. The castle
was court residence and sumptuous public feasts,
chivalrous tournament, jousts and carousels were
staged here. The building now houses the Turín
University Faculty of Architecture. The castle is into
the wonderful Park of Valentino nearest the Po river.
