7. Images Entering the 21st century, we have discovered that we don’t know what 95 percent of our universe is made of. The urge to find out is rooted in the human longing to understand where we come from and where we’re going. Knowledge may have practical implications, too, yet we can no more guess at these than could Einstein when he proposed, just 100 years ago, that matter and energy are equivalent and mediated by the speed of light. Dark matter and dark energy are real, but facts are few. Highlight words on website and hit ctrl ‘c’ then put in a textbox on ppt slide and hit ctrl ‘ v ’
