2. The subjects expressions gives you
insight that these women are working
hard. They don’t look angry, but I
believe they look content. This gives
you the feeling that they have become
accustomed to hard labor work. The
quality of light also gives you a sense
that this was taken a long time ago. The
quality of light also shines on how focus
the women look in this image.

3. • This image gives you a feeling of
peace. The way the subject seems
so unbothered gives you a sense
that he is meditating. The black
and white effect also gives you
some type of emotion when you
look at it. It brings out the
emotion. Also with the subject not
being in the center gives it more
effect. In a way it can show how
humble he is and does not care
about being the main focus.

4. • This image reminds me of the
harsh images of lynching. You see
how helpless the boy looks before
he was killed. You also see the joy
the guy behind him had in doing
this. The focus is in and it gives you
an immediate impact when you
view this image. With the focus
being on the boy who was killed
may give the viewer a reason to
want to know the truth behind this
photo.

is the center of the
photo. Her being in the
center it shows they
want the attention
focused on her. It gives
the viewer a sense of
how strong she is and
determined she is.
