The article is about guessing the identity of an unknown person. In 3 sentences or less, it discusses playing a game where one person thinks of a real person and the other person asks yes or no questions to try and determine who that person is. The goal is to ask the fewest number of questions needed to correctly identify the mystery person that was chosen.
This document contains instructions for a student named Shahina S in the mathematics option at Iqbal Training College in Peringammala. It provides details of Shahina such as her registration number and certified by her mathematics assistant lecturer. The document then provides instructions on how to draw a triangle with the same area as a given quadrilateral by constructing the quadrilateral ABCD, drawing a diagonal CE, and joining the points to form triangle BCE.
The document provides an overview of key aspects of ancient Egyptian civilization. It notes that Egypt was a river valley civilization centered around the Nile River, which the Greeks called the "gift of the Nile". Some defining features it discusses include pharaohs who ruled as kings, hieroglyphic scripts used for writing, pyramids built as royal monuments, and mummification practices for preserving royal bodies after death. It concludes by reiterating how the Egyptian civilization was dependent on annual flooding of the Nile.
This document provides information about Anjana Nair J N, a student of social science at Jamiya Training College Chithara in Kollam, Kerala, India. It then summarizes key aspects of the Mohenjo-Daro civilization in 3 sentences. The Mohenjo-Daro civilization was one of the earliest urban civilizations to emerge in South Asia. Some of the major sites of the civilization include Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa, and Kalibangan. The most prominent structure at the site of Mohenjo-Daro is the Great Bath, which is considered the most distinctive feature of the Mohenjo-Daro civilization.
The document discusses soil formation and the factors that influence it. Soil is formed through prolonged weathering of rocks and decomposition of organic matter. The main factors that influence soil formation are climate, topography, parent rocks, plants and animals, and time. Climate, topography, and parent rocks all impact the rate and characteristics of soil formation in different ways. Plants and animals also influence soil formation through the decay of organic matter. The thickness and structure of soil depends on the length of time over which it forms.

This document provides an introduction to the Indian judiciary system. It outlines the three levels of courts: the Supreme Court, which is the highest court and hears cases from all over India; the High Courts, which are the highest courts in each state and supervise lower courts; and the subordinate courts, which include district, sub, munsif, and magistrate courts that hear cases at the local level. The judiciary resolves disputes, implements justice by punishing criminals and protecting the innocent. It plays an important role in interpreting laws passed by the legislature.
This document discusses decentralization and the role of local governments and communities in France. Some key points:
- There is a debate around decentralization and how to balance national vs local powers. Currently local governments have significant autonomy over transportation, social services, economic development and public safety.
- Some proposals aim to further empower local governments by giving them more tax revenue and control over policies. However, others argue this could undermine national unity and consistency.
- Case studies show that when local governments and communities are invested with real powers and competencies, they can effectively manage services and investments through cooperation. This shows decentralization could accelerate if local actors are given meaningful roles.
- However, the central government still interven
This power point presentation discusses the legislature in India. It notes that the legislature in India is known as the Parliament, which consists of the President and two houses - the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. The Rajya Sabha is the upper house, consisting of 238 elected members and 12 nominated members. It is a permanent house presided over by the Vice President. The Lok Sabha is the lower house, consisting of 543 directly elected members and 2 nominated members. It is presided over by the Speaker. Since it has two houses, the Indian legislature is known as a bicameral legislature.

Toutes administrations confondues, les économies non documentées oscillent entre 3,5 et 4,3 milliards d’euros pour 2016 (hors gages éventuels de 815 millions d’euros pour les mesures de sécurité du 13 novembre 2015) ;
La hausse des effectifs de l’État et de la masse salariale, désormais acquise, rend difficile la stabilisation du solde de l’État qui concentre tous les déficits ;
Les collectivités territoriales pour maîtriser leurs dépenses devraient geler l’évolution de leur masse salariale (ce qui n’est pas crédible) ;
Sur la Sécurité sociale, les économies liées à l’Ondam sont comparables à celles de 2015, alors même qu’il faudrait renforcer l’effort ;
La Fondation iFRAP estime un risque de dérapage sur les dépenses publiques de 7,6 milliards d’euros ;
Par ailleurs, nous estimons qu’il existe un risque de moindres recettes dû à des hypothèses macroéconomiques optimistes de 5,75 milliards d’euros.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.
