The animated comedy Phineas and Ferb follows the adventures of stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb who spend their summer vacations inventing wild contraptions, much to the chagrin of their sister Candace, while their pet platypus Perry moonlights as a secret agent battling the nefarious Dr. Doofenshmirtz; each episode follows a similar structure of the boys building an invention, Candace trying to tattle on them, and Perry battling his arch-enemy, all while promoting a message of creativity and problem-solving.

The structure of the show is always
the same. The Show is approx. 22
minutes. The show always starts
with the opening credits which
contains a theme song. Phineas
and Ferb will be sitting outside
underneath a tree. Phineas will
construct a plan to create/invent
something. Candace will either (Perry turning into Agent P)
over hear or see them building (Phineas and Ferb building
the invention. Perry the platypus their invention)
will go and visit his boss and we
will instructed a job to bust Dr.
Doofenshmirtz. The boys will test
out their invention. Candance will
wait for their parents to come (Perry and Dr
home so she can show their Doofenshmirtz)
parents what they built. But it
always disappears before the
(Candace seeing their
parents get home. inventions)
