Philips reported financial results for Q1 2010 with sales up 12% and growth in emerging markets of 22%. EBITA was €504 million or 8.9% of sales and net income was €201 million. Business highlights included agreements in healthcare between Philips and other companies, new consumer lifestyle products, lighting contracts, and recognition for Philips' website and annual report. Looking ahead to Q2 2010, television sales are expected to grow substantially along with more advertising, while license income will be low and restructuring costs will reduce Consumer Lifestyle profits.
