PETRONEERS Profile
Our Vision:
Continuing our way towards professionalism and integrity, we decided to launch our new technical
magazine.
SPE-CUSC new technical magazine “PETRONEERS” will play a magnificent role not only in disseminating
and enriching technical knowledge for the readers, but also enhancing young editors’ skills such as
observing, studying, making assumptions, critical thinking, analyzing, concluding, and improving their
technical writing skills.
PETRONEERS will include different topics and reports not only related to petroleum industry, but also to
other sources of energy to keep the readers copping with the latest technologies, also to keep them up
to date with the latest oil & gas industry news.
Our Strategy:
We are seeking an outstanding technical magazine that enriches and provides technical knowledge to
the readers. Now we are about to launch our zero issue to introduce PETRONEERS and increase the base
of readers of PETRONEERS.
PETRONEERS will be published each quarter-year.
PETRONEERS will be about 30 to 40 papers.
Expected revealing time is in the first of April 2012.

will be edited for technical and language mistakes by Petroleum Department Academic Staff.
- Professional articles:which are articles written by engineers and professionals form the
industry.
- Interviews: interviews with petroleum industry professionals and public figures.
- Conferences, workshops, and Exhibitions: up to date coverage of technical conference and
exhibitions.
- Latest News:oil & gas companies’ latest news, new discoveries, deals and agreements.
- R&D:“Research and Development” chapter will include Technical SPE Papers by undergraduates
and professionals.

- Technology Center:which include service companies’ latest products, techniques, and tools.
- About SPE:our chapter news and achievements.

We are targeting different categories:
