Danielle Kurin is a bioarchaeologist who studies ancient Peruvian cultures through human remains excavated from burial sites in the Andes mountains. Her presentation contains images from field work excavating burial sites, discovering and excavating skeletons in situ, and analyzing the remains in a lab to learn about the lives and health of past populations. Through this bioarchaeological work, she seeks to explore secrets of the dead from ancient Peru.
