Perseus was the son of Zeus and Danaë. He was known for saving beautiful women in need and being a true adventurer. Perseus was tasked with killing the monster Medusa and bringing back her head. With help from Athena and Hermes, Perseus received gifts like winged shoes and a helmet of invisibility to help defeat Medusa. He succeeded in cutting off Medusa's head, which birthed the winged horse Pegasus. After rescuing Andromeda, Perseus used Medusa's head to turn a rival into stone. He returned home in triumph with his mother and new wife.
