COMPOSER-ARRANGER-SONGWRITER:
1970s-2016:composed, arranged, performed and recorded many pieces for all size ensembles and
vocalists; wrote lyrics; 1995-2016: compositions have been singled out for praise by jazz greats including
Phil Woods, Benny Golson and composer-arranger Bill Finegan; 2008: wrote music and co-wrote lyrics
for song You’re My Foundation with R&B legend Jimmy Norman. Song dedicated to the Jazz
Foundation of America (a charity serving jazz musicians in need) was recorded with their clients
performing and featured worldwide on their website; 2016: book of compositions to be published
