3. Grandfather to Ali:
My Dear son why you are looks so confused? What are you thinking you look in deep imagination?
Ali,
Baba today our history teacher Miss Shiza explained us about the people who lived many years ago. She
said life was not that much easier as today. There were no auto vehicles, no electricity, no technology,
people were living very simple life even I am still amazed there was no match box or lighter how people
burn a fire. She added about Stone Age when people use to live in the caves. It was very difficult to
survive. I want to know more baba can you explain please I am eager to know.
Grandfather:
My son you are absolutely right the life was difficult to survive. Let me tell you more.
Its took more than a month to travel from one country to another.
People used animal for public transport as there was no vehicles. To make a fire people use stones they
rub stone with each other to make a fire without lighter or match box.

4. Ali:
Baba what about hospital?
Grandfather:
My son there was no big hospitals. Every tribe had their wise people (Hakeem) who had knowledge
about natural organic medicine. But my son people did not get sick always like today because everyone
eat fresh food and the fresh water, air was pure there was no air pollution no chemicals in food.
Ali:
Ok baba it’s really interesting tell me more what about schools and children life?
Grandfather:
Schools long ago were totally different than it is today. There was no building.
Children learned under the shadow of trees or eventually one room small house built on small town.

5. Children helped take care of their family; they were responsible for feeding animals and looking after
their younger siblings.
Mostly houses had only one big room all family live together every one had strong emotions for each
other sibling used to eat in one plate. Houses were made by wood or mud but the relationship were
stronger than the houses today.
There were no technology for communication but still the people connected with each other’s.
My son in today’s era everyone is busy with their own problem no one has time for others the most
important thing in any one life is time because once the time gone it will not come again.

Moral:
Value your time once the time gone it will not be back.
