Pentominoes are shapes made of five squares that fit together to tile or cover a surface without gaps or overlaps. This document is about a pentominoes activity that took place in room 241 in September 2009. Students worked with pentominoes to cover surfaces and explore the patterns and designs that could be made by arranging the pieces in different ways.
