Elizabeth Arendt completed a rigorous application and training process to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco from 2012-2013. During her training, she studied Moroccan Arabic, culture, and technical skills like teaching English and community development. As a volunteer, she taught English, organized youth programs, helped with community projects, and promoted health and empowerment for women and youth. Her service concluded after a year of working on these initiatives in Tissint, Morocco.
