3. Past Indefinite образуется:
Для правильных глаголов путем прибавления во всех лицах окончания -ed к форме
инфинитива, которое произносится [d] после гласных и звонких согласных звуков, [t]
после глухих согласных звуков, [Id] после d и t. Правила образования Past Indefinite

Группа глаголов, называемых неправильными, образуют Past Indefinite различными иными
способами, см. раздел: "Приложения; Неправильные глаголы". Форма глаголов в Past
Indefinite обычно называется II-й формой глагола.
Вопросительная и отрицательная формы как правильных, так и неправильных глаголов
образуются при помощи вспомогательного глагола do в прошедшем времени - did и
инфинитива смыслового глагола (без to). При этом смысловой глагол теряет окончание –
ed, которое переходит к вспомогательному do, образуя форму did.
