Thomas Tallis school has changed significantly over the past eleven years, with no hoodies or smoking allowed now, much larger sixth form classes, additional buildings like huts, laptops and smart boards for students, and restrictions on phone use. The school continues to evolve under new leadership and a building project, while older uniforms are replaced and an effort made for a fresh start. Most respondents to a small poll preferred the updated Tallis over the past version.

- 1. The past and future of Thomas Tallis
- 2. Thomas Tallis eleven years ago In the past eleven years, Thomas Tallis has changed. There has been changes such as No hoodies The amount of students in sixth form was much smaller There was no huts There was a smoking area in the staff room for teachers There was no laptop trolleys, meaning there was no laptops for students Teaching was different as there was no smart boards There wasn’t problems with students getting out there phones as technology wasn’t that advanced back then.
- 3. Future Thomas Tallis is always undergoing change Mr Thomas has left and we now have Mr. Parker as our new head of the school. A new building is currently being built A new uniform has been introduced for years 7-10. And a clean slate
- 5. What do you think? Do you prefer the old or new Tallis? Out of 16 people, 6 people preferred the new, 1 person preferred the old, one person was neutral and the rest couldn’t decide.
