L4MS is launching two open calls in 2018 and 2019 to fund application experiments validating the rapid deployment of mobile robots in manufacturing SMEs and mid-caps through virtualization. The pilots will demonstrate reducing installation time and cost by a factor of 10 using the OPIL integration platform and 3D simulator. L4MS offers support for designing automated logistics systems, digital twins of factories in the simulator, connecting robots and sensors to ERP/MES software, trainings, and up to €250k in funding for experimentation. Example projects include designing new AGV systems, integrating existing AGVs to improve flexibility, and optimizing task planning and monitoring.

• L4MS is launching two Open Calls (2018/2019) for Application
Experiments (AEs) to validate the cost effective and rapid
deployment of mobile robots in manufacturing SMEs and Mid-
Caps through virtualization (OPIL + 3D factory simulator).
• The pilots (AE) will demonstrate the value of the solution to
reduce the installation, deployment and configuration time and
cost by a factor of 10
• The pilots will use OPIL integration platform and 3D simulator,
for which free licenses and complete guidance will be offered by
L4MS
