Parrots have strong curved bills and two toes in front and two in back to crack open nuts and berries. They live in flocks in rainforests and the African grey parrot is 33-41cm long with a 46-52cm wingspan. Females lay 2-5 eggs in hollow nests and parrots eat berries, nuts, blossoms, seeds and leaf buds. Parrots have colorful feathers and a grey or black curved bill that varies by breed.
