Park Guell is located in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is a 17-hectare garden complex designed by Antoni Gaudí and built from 1900 to 1914. Originally intended as a residential complex with 60 luxury houses, the park was commissioned by Count Eusebi Güell and based on the English garden city movement. Gaudí divided the site into levels and constructed two entrance pavilions between 1900 and 1903, though the residential project was ultimately unsuccessful.
