The Park Güell was created by architect Antoni Gaudí and features winding paths surrounded by trees, shrubs, sculptures, mosaics, and colorful tile benches. At the center is a large sunny square offering views of Barcelona, and below is an undulating tiled bench. Visitors can also see the fountain at the entrance decorated with mosaic dragons, as well as the hipóstila room with 100 columns supporting the upper square. Nearby is Gaudí's former house, now a museum showcasing his work. The park can be accessed by metro, city bus, or tour bus from downtown Barcelona.
