Parenting Apart groups provide information and skills to help parents successfully manage separation and divorce for the benefit of their children. The groups complement other support services by sharing research, developing skills and insights, and normalizing the experience of separation. They consist of 3-hour workshops for parents focusing on the emotional process, what children need, and developing a working relationship with the ex-partner. Studies show over 90% of parents found the groups increased their understanding of the importance of the child's relationship with both parents and would recommend them to others going through separation.
