This document discusses Catalan spelling rules for the letter combinations X/TX/IG. It states that X is written at the beginning of words like "Xino-Xano" and "Xarop" or after consonants like in "Perxa" and "Marxa". TX is written between vowels as in "Caputxa" and "Dutxa", and sometimes at the end of words if derivatives also contain TX, like "Sanvitx". IG is written at the end of words if derivatives are spelled with G/J/TG/TJ, such as "Roig" and its derivative "Rogen".
