Paramount Vantage focuses on producing drama and comedy films but also creates documentaries, horror films, and thrillers. Their main genres are drama and comedy as shown by the list of films. They also use hybrid genres such as romantic comedy, drama-comedy, and crime thriller. There are not many relationships between Paramount Vantage and filmmakers/producers, indicating a lack of sequels. While known for dramas and comedies, Paramount Vantage also produces high quality thrillers, as shown by No Country for Old Men winning the Oscar for Best Picture in 2008.

Paramount Vantage have also made one film that belongs to the war genre and that is the film defiance. Paramount Vantage’s main genre that they create films for are drama and comedy films as you can see from the list in the slide before. Paramount Vantage have also used plenty of hybrids and sub genres such as; romcom, drama comedy, tragic comedy, supernatural horror, crime thriller and British drama.

Filmmakers/Producers From the films I have researched in the previous slides, there are not many relationships between Paramount Vantage and the filmmakers/producers, this could indicate that there have been no second part to films made and that no sequels have been made for the films above and if they have been made then there has been a different director and producer used.

6. Paramount Vantage Paramount Vantage as you can clearly see in the previous slides is very good at producing comedies and dramas. We are able to understand this as they have made plenty of films within the two genres. However you could argue that they also make very good films in the thriller genre as their film ‘no country for old men’ won the Oscar for best film in 2008 and this prestigious award is definitely something that would communicate that the film company has made a good film within the horror genre.
