The Paralympics is a major international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities including impaired muscle power and limb deficiencies. It is organized by the International Paralympic Committee based in Bonn, Germany and recognized by the International Olympic Committee. The Paralympic Games symbol represents spirit in motion with colors of blue, red and green, and their hymn was composed by French guitarist Thierry Darnni.
