Pamela Patterson Bearden has over 20 years of experience in education. She received her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and has a MA in ESL and BS in Education. Currently she works as an ESL Specialist for the Chilton County Board of Education where her responsibilities include teaching English to K-12 English Learners, facilitating professional development workshops, and evaluating and utilizing testing data. She has previous teaching experience in English, Spanish, Journalism and Art at the high school and elementary level.

 Execute the duties of Test Administrator Trainer and collaborate with Test Coordinator
 Evaluate and utilize testing data to determine differentiated instruction for LEP students and to create
Continuing Improvement Plans for schools and school system.
 Coordinate ESL summer classes for parents and students.
 Translate written communications and documents for the school system.
 Interpret for parents during regular parent-teacher meetings and special education conferences.
 Communicate with the Special Education staff in determining eligibility of EL students.
