This document outlines the agenda for a 5-week class on death and end-of-life care planning. Each week includes a discussion of topics like views on death, different end-of-life care options, the importance of advance directives, and personal experiences. Students are assigned short writing prompts as homework each week to reflect on their thoughts and feelings about death and how they want their end-of-life care handled. The class aims to educate students on planning for end of life through discussions, videos, and completing pre- and post-surveys.

present day society

week three’s discussion.
5. Go over & discuss last weeks home work assignment.
Explain: Advance Directives, POLST, Five Wishes,
Living Will, Estate Planning

Home work assignment #3: Why do you feel it is so
important to be prepared for our final stage of life?
Please jot down at least three thoughts to share on
week four.
