Hani Almadhoun earned his MPA degree from BYU's Marriott School in April. As a Palestinian student, he felt compelled to excel and represent his family and culture well. Though initially attending BYU on an undergraduate scholarship, Almadhoun connected with the university and completed his MPA there as well, drawn by the ethics and integrity of students as well as the quality program. Almadhoun was an active and popular student leader who is now assistant to the president of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, applying the skills gained from his BYU education.
